individual or collective?
I had an epiphany today.
Let me begin, by stating that I think we are created in God's image, male and female. Yes, I know, Genesis 1:27. We are individuals, created as individuals. We are all saved by God's grace, of course, and He knows us. Each of us. He loves all of us.
The reason I mention that, is that today, we are told that gender is fluid. We have seen examples of race being fluid. People can be whatever, or whoever they want. This has been building since the sexual revolution of the 1960s. Only one problem...
Of course the people that predominantly push these ideas hate the idea of the individual. They hate it when someone is successful. They hate that they haven't done something similar, So what do they do? They pawn themselves off as a constitutional lawyer, hanging out with real terrorists, or a politician pretending to have some heritage, and spin that into a comfy professorship at a prestigious college.
Have you noticed how progressives thrive in group victimologies? They sort by race, by gender, by ethnicity, sexual orientation, not as individuals. They automatically disregard victims as individuals, and go straight to the fill in the blank group.
They love to take from the rich, because it is for the public good. Individuals don't matter. They didn't build anything.
That is why they want to take away the personal protection of firearms. Your individual safety doesn't matter.
Terrorists are not terrorists, if they acted as individuals, it is because they were mental.
A woman can choose whether or not to abort a child. The individual of the child doesn't matter.
By inserting Uncle Sam into the family as breadwinner, the father could be replaced. It is very difficult to raise children in a single parent home providing discipline, and pushing education, even with money and other aid coming in. This has created neighborhoods where residents are afraid to let their kids play outside. Schools where there is no learning, which perpetuates the cycle.
While I have written that marriage is not a question of law, but of faith, the bottom line is that the family unit is the basis of society. If the family is broken, the nation is broken.
Once we tear down the identity of an individual, they just become part of the collective. This is a teaching of ANY socialist, marxist, fascist, or communist. Sacrifice the one. If individual characteristics don't identify us, then what? Of course, it isn't painted that way. It is painted as you being you.
I can only hope that those encouraging these behaviors are not knowingly destroying individuals, but history would indicate that they do know.
Satan's plan was to destroy agency, to destroy our ability to choose, to destroy any chance of achieving for ourselves. Destroying our identity to advance his desire.
